How many people can stay in a 2-bedroom apartment?

Our 2-bedroom apartments are set up to sleep 4 guests, typically one bed per bedroom. Specific sleeping configurations (king, queen, twin) vary by property and are detailed on each listing. Additional guests beyond the listed maximum are not permitted without prior written approval.

Is the entire apartment private, or do I share it with other guests?

Every Masterstays property is booked as an entire apartment. You will not share the space with other guests or the host. The apartment is yours for the full duration of your stay.

Are the bathrooms fully equipped?

Yes. All bathrooms are stocked with the essentials: towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and a hairdryer. Spare towels and additional toilet paper are available in the property, locations are noted in the welcome guide. If you need additional supplies during your stay, contact us directly.

Is the garage included in my booking?

Yes. One secure garage space is included as part of every booking at properties listed with a 1-car garage. There is no additional charge for garage parking. The space is allocated exclusively to guests booked into the apartment.

Can I fit an SUV or larger vehicle in the garage?

Most garages at our properties accommodate standard-sized vehicles including mid-sized SUVs. However, clearance heights, bay widths, and lengths vary between properties, particularly in apartment buildings. If you are driving a larger vehicle (4WD, van, ute), please contact us before booking to confirm the dimensions for that specific property.

Is street parking also available if I have a second vehicle?

Street parking availability varies by suburb and property. Some Melbourne inner-suburb streets have residential parking restrictions during certain hours. We will include local parking information in your welcome guide. If a second parking space is important to your stay, let us know in advance and we will advise on the best options for that property's location.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be arranged depending on property availability. Please request this in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Requests made on the day of arrival or departure cannot always be guaranteed.

What happens if I have trouble accessing the property on arrival?

Contact us immediately via the number provided in your booking confirmation. We have support available for exactly these situations. We will either walk you through the access process or arrange for someone to assist in person if needed.

How does check-out work?

On check-out day, please ensure the apartment is left in a reasonable condition. Rubbish in the bins, dishes rinsed or in the dishwasher, and any personal belongings removed. Leave the keys, fobs, or remotes in the location specified in your welcome guide. You do not need to strip beds or do a deep clean, that is handled by our cleaning team after every stay.

Are pets allowed?

Pet policies vary between properties. Some apartments in our collection are pet-friendly; others are not suitable due to building rules or property configuration. Each listing will indicate clearly whether pets are permitted. If you want to bring a pet, please confirm before booking and let us know the type and size of animal.

Is smoking allowed inside the apartment?

No. All Masterstays properties are strictly non-smoking indoors. This includes cigarettes, vapes, and any other smoking products. Guests who smoke indoors will be charged a remediation fee. If you smoke, please do so outdoors and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

What is the minimum stay?

Most of our properties have a 2-night minimum stay. Some properties in peak periods (events, public holidays, school holidays) may have a longer minimum. The minimum for each property and period will be shown at the time of booking.

What do I do if something in the apartment is not working?

Contact us directly using the number or message channel provided in your booking. We have a support team available to assist with issues during your stay. For urgent matters (no hot water, no electricity, a lock that won't work), we treat these as priority issues and respond immediately.
